A delicately sweet blend of blueberries, szechuan & habanero, complemented with fresh lemongrass & ginger.
This wonderfully colourful habanero hot sauce is guaranteed to pair perfectly with pork, noodles, dumplings or even avocado on toast.
organic apple cider vinegar, blueberry (25%), apple, water, habanero (7%), brown sugar, ginger, lemongrass, salt, tapioca starch, szechuan peppercorns (less than 1%), allspice, black pepper.
The Szechuan is subtle but that’s what makes it great. You can taste the blueberry but at the same time it’s a hot sauce. It’s not too sweet that it’s like a chutney but it adds a new complexity and profile to foods. I recommend this sauce with pork (why have apple sauce when you can have this!)
This sauce is my favourite! It goes really well with eggs I find, drizzled over a fried egg with a runny yolk just elevates it to a whole other level. Adds a freshness and a zing that I just love!
