A reinterpretation of a South American classic, combined with Aotearoa’s native and locally abundant ingredients.
We use tart green kiwifruit layered with fresh, grassy capsicum, alongside ground kawakawa berries for their subtle sweetness, signature peppery flavour, and gentle numbing sensation.
Perfect with fried fish tacos, folded through guacamole, or spooned over golden cheese toasties.

A birthday present for my brother Peter who is the saint in our family! He is a foodie too and enjoyed his Verdi first on a freshly caught and smoked trout served on a bed of kawakawa leaves.

This hot sauce is the best. It’s perfect for adding a little bit of heat to just about anything. It’s tangy, it’s spicy, it’s sweet, it’s our favourite. We use it on steak, tacos, pizza, sandwiches. It’s super versatile. Definitely a staple in our home. 10/10
